When your partner speaks:
1. Summarize what your partner said (To summarize what Edgar said...)
2. Clarify their answer if they were unclear (What I think Kimberly was trying to say was...)
3. Ask them a probing question, question their rationale, their evidence, make them think more in depth (Isaac, I think the quote that you used during the seminar about hydroelectric energy meeting the energy demands of our country was misunderstood, what I think the quote meant was...)

Norma Rubio
1. She said something along the lines of,"my energy was hydrogen fuel cells, they are better because they don't have emissions and they use a natural resource, water"
2. She probably meant what she said, it was clad and concise, she gave a general description of how it works, and answerered the question.
3. If the United states depended solely on hydrogen fuel cells, what problems could arise?

Mine is biofuels, it opens up hundreds of jobs and is a renewable source. The economy will rise from the food production.

Relying on one specific energy source like wind energy, it won't be as effective as other energy sources because there's not enough wind to make power. Ethanol won't have a big impact because it uses plant life, like corn. Since earth is running out of gas, the best alternative is ethanol because all you have to grow is corn, according to a website, growing corn won't be problem because you can always grow it. Along with sugarcane. We can't grow uranium but we can grow Relying on ethanol as an energy source, people investing in gasoline will be impacted not people investing in corn. If we switched to nuclear energy, in Japan there was an earthquake and if plants get hit, the radiation will increase and make it dangerous for people to live there. Deformations occur due to the radiation levels in certain places. What's the process for energy to be conducted for thermal energy?

Alfonso Perez Summary -To summarize what Alfonso said, he clarified to Ricky's answer by saying wind energy would not reach the standard of what the world demands for electricity. -He said if we relied on nuclear energy we would run out and what would our world count on then. Clarify -To clarify what Alfonso said if we used garbage it can reduce 20% of carbon emissions.

1. His energy source isn't sufficient but it's the best source until we find something stable. It's reliable and clean.

Heidi
To summarize what Heidi said it is a process that we use the steam to get the energy
Why do you think geothermal is better yah. All the other sources ?

To summarize what Estaban said: He said his energy source is the best because nuclear energy produces and abundance amount of energy. The uranium has a lot of energy.

Erwin C. 1)To summarize what Erwin said was that another way to dig oil from earth is by fracking.
2)I think what Erwin was trying to say that...
3)Erwin, I think what you said about biofuels being bad because it would have food shortages, but it would also provide more jobs for people and the economy would go up.

Melissa You say that wind engery makes little engery and that will affect the power? The pop is different form the US and Scotland. If it hits a fault it could cause a earthquack. Natural gases is used in many of our every day iteam and we relie on them now.

My partner is Angel Pelayo. 1. To summarize what Angel said, " my energy source is wind energy. If one winf turbine stops working, there will be others available. Your energy(ethanol) is going to ruin tones of lives, ethanol will need a ton of agriculture crops. Many GMO products will be in markets. Destroy economy by having many companies invest their money on crops. Energy doesn't create any by-product when it breaks. If other wind energy sources malfunction, they will release harmful by-products.
2. When angel said that ethanol will destroy the economy, he reffered to the old classic cars and even normal ones to this day, that will have to rely on a new gasoline with which their system isn't used to. And it will also need a large number of crops and GMOs which can be harmful.
3. You said GMOs would be harmful, but yet they are being used now for the better. What is it that would make them harmful?

Wind Energy needs to have the perfect wind because little wind means no energy too much energy breaks it. You can never have the perfect energy. Also how can it power up Los Angeles when it doesn't create a lot of energy?
Turbines isn't renewable because there's not enough energy in some places where we have open space. What she's trying to say is that wind isn't strong enough witnd sometimes.

Danae Yepez 1) although wind is producing our energy, how is oil going to be used to produce electricity? 2) nuclear power realeases bad toxins like nuclear waste.

My partner is Christian "What if the wind comes behind the wind turbines the wind is going to break or damage the turbine." "Natural gases you could either frack or or extract from the earth core" "Natural gas is les harmful with no camcer and it doesn't kill birds like wind turbines"
